WHO
WE ARE
SoundLincs is a music charity which empowers people through music and creativity. Delivering high-quality, innovative music and creative services that drive social change, workshops, training, research and development. Providing toolkits, apps, and books to expand music-making and creativity. With a national reputation for musical inclusion, working across various sectors, ensuring everyone has the chance to be empowered through music and culture.
In this project we are working alongside experienced trusted partners including:
Taylor Made Arts - an arts organisation which specifically targets hard to reach groups through theatre-based projects. TMA supports diverse groups (often those on the periphery of society) to engage in creativity to develop new skills and confidences. www.taylormadearts.co.uk;
Paradigm Arts who have, over the last decade, been responsible for developing and sustaining some of the country's top cultural arts education programmes, through visual art, radio, filmmaking, creative writing & 3D sculpture. www.paradigmarts.co.uk;
Cultural Solutions UK, established 2007, is a Lincolnshire based independent arts and cultural consultancy offering a range of research, planning and events management services to the arts, including festival development, working with diverse communities whose voices are seldom heard such as the Eastern European communities within Lincolnshire. www.culturalsolutions.co.uk
Rhubarb Theatre was set up in November 2000 by professional actors Philip and Kirsty Mead as a drama resource for the community of Lincolnshire. Since then, we’ve moved from being a small part-time concern, to a full time professional touring company, specialising in performance for children and families and a Registered Charity.
We are also working with cultural and heritage practitioners in Lincolnshire County Council who create and deliver heritage projects and have worked alongside heritage groups county-wide. Through this collaboration we are able to access a wide array of skills, arts, culture and heritage delivery as well as development of people and projects. This diverse skill set will allow us to deliver a dynamic, engaging and transformative project for the communities of Lincolnshire.
